Dörte Gebert

Dörte was 56 years old when she encountered The Diamond Cutter by Geshe Michael Roach, and first heard about the pen in 2013 in Diamond Cutter Institute (DCI) Course 4. Since then she has attended all DCI courses, many lam rim courses and others, and completed the 18 Asian Classics Institute Foundation Courses.

Dörte studied economics and worked for 20 years in medium-sized companies, most recently as a vice president of sales and marketing. Since 2008, she has been the CEO of the non-profit organization, Das Macht Schule. It was founded by her husband Bernd, with whom she has lived since 1974 near Hamburg in Germany. She has worked on quality assurance concepts for the Asian Classics Institute and on the development of ACI DACH (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) as board member and marketing director.

"For me, ACI is THE way to a fulfilled life. The more I understand, the more successful I am in shaping my world," Dörte says. "My relationship with my husband is better than ever and was reaffirmed with a Buddhist wedding after 31 years of marriage. Our organization would be nowhere near as successful without ACI knowledge."
