Aldo Arzapalo 

Aldo is an architect, a graduate of ITESO University in Guadalajara, Mexico. Since he was little, he was drawn to the study of different languages. He began to study English when he was five years old, and continued his studies for 13 more years. Aldo started his meditation practice 15 years ago.  After he met Geshe Michael 10 years ago, he started to study and apply the principles of karma and emptiness; his life changed completely.

Aldo has been studying the 18 ACI Foundation Courses full-time for the last 10 years, including an intensive study program at Sera Mey Monastery in South India. Having tasted the sweetness of the teachings that changed his life, he became enormously interested in making them available in his native Spanish language. So he began to teach the ACI courses in Spanish on a weekly basis; he has been teaching the 18 ACI Foundation Courses in Guadalajara for more than seven years. He is currently a member of the ACI En Español Board and is also a member of the Spanish Translation Project (STP); this team is translating all the ACI material into Spanish. He has a successful Airbnb and real estate business in Guadalajara, where he lives with his family.
